Sounds to me like your problem isn't LoL but the MOBA genre as a whole. It's true, LoL is geared more towards casual players and as such isn't as complicated as other similar games out there. Pretty sure you would have a miserable time in any other MOBA game as well.

Yes, this isnt my type of game nor will it ever be, but what suprises me is. The elitist attitude all the players give off. Acting like idiotic morons to boost there e-peen and blaming people for there deaths/losing (this happened to much). A tactical game you would think would have a mature audience rather then something worse then WoW's audience.

Another thing is, Theres only 2-3 maps (if im right, sorry if im not). Whats so fun about that?

Clearly the MOBA genre is not for you.

No point trying to understand, I doubt anything would persuade your opinion at this point.

4 Maps (Summoner's Rift, Twisted Treeline, Proving Grounds, Crystal Scar(not out yet)) and two game modes (classic and Dominion (which isn't out yet (tied with Crystal Scar)).

I will gladly play with you, friends can make it better.

I can honestly understand why you would not like the game or the genre. To me, I like the details of it, how the game can work, how each match can be completely different from the rest.

Reasons I like League of Legends:
    • Leveling System (Summoner)
    • A huge amount of characters to play
    • Ability to create things like mastery pages and runes pages
    • When with friends, can be extremely fun.
    • Being able to build each champion multiple ways, regardless of what their "tag" is.
    • RIOT Games actually does a pretty decent job at listening to the players unlike many other online game companies.
    • This game is literally free. No need to buy anything with real money, AT ALL.
    • ETC ETC rant rant rant

As Posner once said, the only true happiness comes from the suffering of others. Since it's a jail-able offense irl, killing ppl in moba gives me great pl... no that didn't come out right.

There's a difference between "being able to play the game correctly" and "being good at it"

And MOBA games make the gap between those 2 things very vast.

LoL is the easiest MOBA out there, but play against any 2000+ ELO (well...ex 2000+ now) and you'll see the difference.

Love how the post is really just a problem with lowbies being bad

not a post how current meta game is all about disables, which makes people like Morg/Amumu/Galio top tier since they can stop whole teams

Except the issues he pointed out don't specifically address LoL but the MOBA genre as a whole.

Don't try to use this as an excuse to express your fanboyism.

    How are moba games repetitive?

MMO are even more repetitive than ever.

I guess it can be repetitive in a sense that it's the same map and the same goal every match, however the champion combinations and outcomes are never the same. I don't see how that would be "annoying".

What do people see in ANYTHING that they like? People are just different and have different tastes but when all have a similar taste then crap like WoW and LoL happens. I personally don't see why people like M:TG but a lot of people play it.

Eh, the game itself isn't that bad really, not my cup of tea though. The community however might just be the worst I've ever encountered in my entire life.

LoL is far from repetitive in my opinion. Unless you play against bots or something.
I've played way over 600 games and I can't even remotely remember having two similar games. Even if the games have same champions, people play completely different.

LoL is a PvP game, some people like it, some don't :J

What keeps me playing LoL is the diversity of champions ("master" one champion and move to learning the next one).
And the moment of success when you pwn someone by skill (being better player) or just do a move that completely turns the fight over to your team.

While LoL is very skill dependant, you do have some "RPG" and customization when it comes to runes.
If you are new to MOBAs, LoL has huge learning curve which gets even worse by old players rolling new accounts to faceroll newbies.

If I were to start playing LoL now (without playing Dota and similar games before) I would probably play 2 games and say fk this.
It takes a lot of patience and learning (reading guides, watching replays) to learn MOBAs. Not to mention you need to PLAY PLAY PLAY PLAY PLAY a lot.

For comparison, it takes a lot less time to hit 85 and get full epix in WoW than touching the surface of being a good moba/lol player.

However if you are into competitive PvP I strongly recommend you try LoL and put a lot of effort into it. Not only does it make you a good PvPer it also enhances your gaming skills when thinking towards new PvP games such as GW2

so if you rlly wanna see my answer: LoL is just LOL...for me as a dota/hon
player since the first version its rlly a bad game and mostly for kids
    and newcomers (genre wise).

Since HoN is f2p many LoL people changed to HoN and the community
is now even more crap cause there are so many noobs around and
their brain is fu cked up cause they played LoL for a too long time xD

I dont care if someone is new at this genre (if he or she says so)...thats
just a bad excuse cause this guy or girl failed using his/her brain (in a round).
I mean..come on..the person said he is new and the team gives him some tips
and so on and he still runs into a full team even if he saw them on the
    map hiding...thats just brainless -.-

so yeah..i am a LoL hater

    dota > hon ------------------------------------------------ > LoL

Clearly the game doesn't appeal to you and that's ok, not everyone is going to enjoy the MOBA genre. However making a post asking others how they can play a game you don't enjoy or understand seems incredibly misguided.

What you should have done is just uninstalled it and found a game you do enjoy.
