Generally, I don't play online. I hate playing on other peoples teams because I'm usually not too good at whatever game I'm playing. I like to play single player games mostly because of this.

I just like to enjoy myself and play at my own pace.

But, I decided I'd like to try my hand at DJ Hero 2 online (since nobody was ever online in the first one by the time I got it.) and people ****ing suck.

They just up and quit as soon as I'm in a good lead. Not everyone, but 2 of the 3 times I've been winning they quit. How lame is that?

Thats a real *** move and should equal an instant win for the other player (if its a random matchup, not a friend obviously).

StarCraft had a system where if you quit after the game had been going on for 2 minutes, it would count as a loss and a win for the person who left and the person who didn't quit, respectively.

I don't know why companies don't do that in the first place!

I play FIFA online and people purposly disconnect when they are losing.. not quit, disconnect... so it counts as nothing..

WTF i don't care if my opponent has connection issues... if he gets disconnected he should ****ing lose!

Hardcore gamers are really fixated on winning. As soon as they lose they'll either get really pissed or go offline and go all dramatic and scream into their pillow. However, when they win and they're either with friends or the game got a voice chat option, they'll go partying like crazy, as if they've won gold at the Olympics.
