    Default d3 closed Beta begins

    just a quick FYI today they started the official beta test and have sent out the first wave of invites check your emails and or log into your accounts at battle.net and see if you got accepted..

    Sadly I did not but if any1 here did and is looking for a new best friend PM this guy your info lol..

    Good luck to everyone, I will be watching there facebook / twitter for contest chances as well as hoping I get a lucky email invite, remember there is no NDA so if you get in feel free to scream it from the roof tops and make us all jelly.

    Go to the official d3 community site front page for info regarding beta start as of today if you doubt me :P

    No invites have gone out yet to non media members. They were saying earlier that the invites to normal people would be going out later this evening before the forums started going to shit.

    Yeah it seems most of the media invites were from retail conventions (thats how I got mine) and to ecelebs that heavily promote World of Warcraft.

    I'm hoping my wife gets a standard invite this evening so I can play with her.

    ya I hope I get an invite sometime in the future but regardless its been cool to see lots of media coverage play throughs and what not has just helpd get me more hyped for d3 fingers crossed its this Nov release and not 2012

    Kinda wish they hadn't sent them in. I personally didn't want an invite so I gave mine to my Biology teacher. Now he won't shut the hell up about D3. >_>

    How the hell does it make me a teachers pet? He's the only guy I know irl that even plays D3 and none of my other friends were interested in it. Sorry that we can't be or know "true nerds".

    they did awesome job with D3, I don't think D2 clone will be sufficient atm. Just go take a look on PoE, that game will die soon.

    I have to disagree with you here. I played lots of d1 and d2 and I personaly think d3 looks fantastic. I have been watching tons of stuff on it lately and I gotta say I am pretty hyped for d3 atm.

    i just hope for a nice rpg i can enjoy with my friends and with an awesome story like the 2 earlier games.

    The cinemetics where just plain awesome in d2! i hope they wont leave that part out aswell

    I've seen it in streams already, so I'm not too heart broken. Waiting for the full game to come out is killin me though. Wanna get started in hardcore asap.
