Eve Online Developer Responds to Player Outrage
It's been a tough few months for Eve Online developer, CCP. Some players have been unhappy with the Incarna expansion, while others have been in open revolt over CCP's decision to introduce micro-transactions. This week the developer again attempted to quell the discontent, saying the company is going through a period of "intense introspection and revitalization".
The comments were made by Eve Online senior producer Arnar Hrafn Gylfason on the game's official blog. He says that CCP is listening to players, and is going about the process of implementing changes:
"Over the past days and weeks, CCP has been doing extensive and intense introspection and revitalization. The result of this is a refocusing and reprioritization on a scale unheard of within our company. These are indeed defining times."
"We have decided to focus our collective efforts on the areas you have asked us to focus on... We are listening to you, we have heard you, and plans are already in motion."

He did it with Minecraft 1.8, and now he's done it again with Minecraft 1.9. Mojang developer Jens Bergensten has "leaked" the pre-release build of the latest Minecraft update via twitter. The new version will probably be unstable and buggy... but eager players can download it and get a taste of the new features.
Included in Minecraft 1.9 are new mobs, such as the Snow Golem (pictured) and something called a Mooshrum Cow.
