how are all of you talking about farming and such ... the game is so bugged ....

tried to play with a friend now that the servers are not that full early in the morning but in barely 1 hour we could only do 1 map cuz one of us allways got kicked loading the boat, and than we had to search each other all the time cuz we were shown as offline in the friend list so we could only party invite with right click on each others character -.-V

Would have thaught now that nexon hosts this game since some years in america they at least would have less bugs than most "new" games but hell this is unlpayable like this.

Pre-revamp, staff is absolutely 100% crap, crap and more crap. There is NOTHING good about pre-revamp staff. Scythe is superior at that point. This is most likely the point you guys will start at, but I could be wrong.

However, post-revamp staff is a different beast. After their respective buffs. staff Evies and hammer Fionas are so OP it's disgusting.

That being said, I find staff post-revamp to be absolutely boring. It's so brain dead easy mode it hurts. If you want a more active play style, you'll want scythe. Personally, I would recommend scythe over staff pre-revamp AND post revamp, simply because I found post-revamp Staff so easy it bored me 90% of the time. If you care more about being "the best" you'll be better off with staff Evie post-revamp however.

    Basically, post staff revamp.

OP easy mode = Staff Evie

More reactive gameplay that actually requires some thought = Scythe Evie

Anyways, as for erg transformation, yes it IS worth it. However, I would not prioritize it right away. For Evie, the skills you really want to max first are magic mastery, magic crit and to a lesser extent int mastery while still making sure you meet armor/weapon/new skill requirements.

Oh and one note about Scythe Evie, she is a hybrid of magic damage and physical damage. However, since the vast majority of your damage still comes from magic once you get mark of death and bloody thread, you want to make your magic damage the priority.

Also, one not about the golem summoning for when you guys do get it, please, for the love of god ASK if your party is ok with it before you summon your golem. You have no idea how much that damn thing can hurt how well a Fiona or a Lann can see the incoming attack of a boss and end up dead because your golem blocked their sight. Not only that, but if your golem decides to go in between another player and the boss while that playing is about to release a strong attack (and the golem will do this btw, it's as if it's programmed to) it can actually push the player away from the boss, causing them to miss their attack completely.

Eh, Karok was so hyped and yet I never saw more then 5 high level Karoks. I'm honestly not sure why, his dodge used right is arguably one of the best, and his damage is about on par with a scythe Evie. He's a solid character overall, but he just never caught on after the initial hype wave.

Just an FYI that most people don't blow up their Mark of Death when they put it on an enemy(or enemies) or boss. The Mark of Death increases your smash damage on whoever it is marked on for as long as the mark is there. If you mark a boss and keep the mark, you will do increased Smash Damage. In general, you should be using it as a booster rather than an attack skill.

Wait until you get Bloody Threads to start utilizing your blow up skills. Bloody Threads is much stronger and can be easily marked onto many enemies at once. The combo required to plant it is also strong. (Normal Normal Normal Normal Smash E)

No, no, no, no, no, NO!

Please, for the love of god do not spread this rumor. I assume the tool tip for your mark of death is filled with typos like the NA version, it is WRONG. It does not boost the damage of smash attacks on a marked target. It has been PROVEN wrong. Any damage the tool tip refers to is refering to mark of death, and ONLY mark of death.

Sorry, but you have no idea how much Evies who don't set off their marks annoy me and you have no idea how stubborn people who believe these rumors can be.

Was cleaning up my photobucket account, and found some images I decided to tease you all with!

Also, I lied about being a pure sword, I delved into hammer post-buff, but I found I preferred sword despite it being the weaker of the two.

And yes, I did indeed use Eagle Heart as my small shield of choice, even at 61+. The other shield you see is the Jirkal Large shield, one of the 61+ large shields.

Post-buff hammer, however, is bloody OP. Arguably even more OP then post-revamp staff Evie because a post-buff hammer will EASILY out damage a equally geared staff Evie. In other words, after the hammer buff, hammer wins easily over sword. This is because not only does hammer receive a damage buff, it also receives a speed buff that puts it on par with sword speed and it gets a repeatable smash attack that does not have diminishing returns.

That being said, I prefer sword myself.
That repeatable smash attack, is that the swinging from left to right attack ?

If so, we have that already on EU.

i am 40 right now and the biggest problem is that there aren't enough parties (that give decent exp) to join...

Probably too late but, I've just made a guild yesterday.

I'd like to welcome ONRPG players, so if any of you is without a guild, and wouldn't mind being in a starting guild (just starting out) you are welcome to join, also seeking some more leaders.

The guild is called Remnants of a Forgotten Past, you can find it easily by searching Remnants in the guild search window.

    Thanks, and enjoy the game

P.S It's a social guild, casual player friendly and the only rule is that the guild chat must be english.

It's better to group really,up till you get to Goliath at 38,then you get 70-80k xp per 8-10 mins which is A LOT,sum it up and you get about 450k xp per hour which again is a RIDICULOUS amount of xp.That's how ppl got to 44 so fast but then again it also totally kills the fun of the game to level like that.Personally I took it easy, read most of the quests and had tons of fun doing it and now I'm 44 and too lazy to actually farm any equipment at all >.> It's not like armor means much in this game aside from prestige and looks I guess.Still happy with my good ol' Blood Prince set.I might go back to farming hidden and lag but red spider shells are total *****es and that kind of turns me off.

Actually, people only do Goliath till they can do hidden to level up quickly, hidden gives either about the same or a bit more then goliath if I recall correctly...........and you can drop the red spider in 1-5 minutes depending on gear, character, and skill. 5 minutes is considered slow for a solo hidden run btw.

Basically, for solo leveling quickly and easily, it goes....

    Blood Prince-----> Goliath------>Hidden

Although, some people skip goliath and just stick with Blood Prince till they can do hidden. Soloing the red tyrant instead of Goliath is also an option although I'd say he's tougher.

I hope the green shell droprate is better, if not I will buy them
Oh trust me, drop rates get worse.

    Much worse.

If you think the spider is bad, just wait till you see the drop rate of heavy warrior fragments.

Hell, just wait till the once a day raids, those drops rates are...................ugh.
