    Default Karigurashi no Arrietty

About to watch it in a moment any good? i saw a trailer and everything looked so beautiful, then i saw it was from the same makers as Spirited away and howls moving castle so now i just GOT to watch it lol. surprised i saw nobody talk about it here yet.

anyway ill let you guys know what i think about it, and maybe post some sweet 1920x1080 pics

    teaser trailer

edit: just watched it. this is really a BEAUTIFUL movie. a visual spectacle from start to end, theres just so much detail, great sound and music and a amazing story. i liked it even more then spirited away the only downside is that it had to end lol. its the kind of movie that when it ends you cant put your mind to something else for hours, maybe even days.
i cant wait for the next big masterpiece from these creators!
ill give it a big fat 10

SPOILER Did Sho survive the hart operation, i really hope so for him. the poor kid. if u think about it its a kind of sad ending for him
SPOILERI got the feeling that at the end he decided that he would be fine. I believe the biggest threat to his life at that point was needing to find the will to survive, or gaining a sense of "it will be alright", which he achieved. Plus it was a happy-ending story, so he has to be alright, right? D:

Yeah, it's a bit different each time, but they always center around the little "Borrowers".

There's a few American/English movies on it, and I think there is even a live-action-and-animation version of it that came out in the past 2-3 years. I believe it goes on another name than the Borrowers, though. but it's about little people living in a families home/yard.

This anime movie follows the original story pretty closely, actually. But is different.

I'm looking forward to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bor...282011_film%29 because of Steven Fry being in it.

been reading a bit of that wiki site and yeah it does seem different lol, they switched the rheumatic fever of the boy with a hart fever :P thats kinda what i wanted to know if he had the same fever in the book and if he recovered from it there but its not the same lol. still strange how i never heard of this book which seems to be known pretty well worldwide, it was never really brought up on my school or anything i think.

i might check out the real life movie, but im probably sticking with the anime in the end lol, im just a sucker for beautifull drawn animation like that :P
i suddenly feel like re-watching Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away too from that same Studio Ghibli, hehe
