Wink "F2P" - Would you work for free? Didn't think so!

Charity being an exception, MMORPGs are not charities.

Therefore, "free-to-play" is a false advertising.

Sorry but you're wrong. You are free to play the game, but that does not mean it will be the best experience compared to paying for it. Nor does it say you can play all of it for free. It is still free to play.

At least the smilies defuse this post.
There are far too many people who act offended by cash shops or subscription options in F2P games.

I'll go on a limb here and guess(which I am most certain of in this case and not just throwing that around like it is often done) that you are under 14 years.

Because sonny, you have no idea how the world works it seems.

Ceritifed troll here!!! Look at all his posts. They are in the F2P section, but they are against it.

Just go away... you have nothing productive to post except your hearsay lies about F2P. You dont need to be posting in this section.

If everythng in F2P is not really F2P, explain how LoTRO can be completely free with earning TP (cash shop currency)within the game?

As I said before, my brother has everything account wide unlock and he still has extra TP to spend on anything he needs for new toons.

He has everything the CS has to offer for account wide unlocks, but he never spent a dime.--- that would be a definition of FREE

But you will come up with some childish excuse why it's still not free to play. Your ignorance is your genetic downfall. Dont breed.

F2P prospers because todays players are lazy as hell an get any advantage they can lol.

Thank you Mr. Rich person that needs to buy 1000 Dragon Balls a day for Conquer Online, or 1000000 M Clay on Grand Fantasia, or every single Champion and a Skin for them on League of Legends, or every single Turbine Point they can get in LOTRO and DnD, or that person that needs a gagillion GPotato Points. You keep our games free an fun an sell ur shiet cheap.

Just to name a few lol xD.

i dont really care about cash shops anymore, if the game is good and the items arent overpriced ill just buy whatever i like since i got money. there are limits though, vindictus is a good example where they did it right. trickster however is kinda evil lol, but they still manage to get hundreds of dolars out of me. but if u looked at that 1 game that got shut down, mars war. thats taking it a little too far, putting tank licenses for overpriced in the cash shop while its a pvp game

but i wont ever fall for one of those shitty korean grindfest mmorpgs which are just a glorified goldfarm and give money away to those games. thankfully screenshots can give this impression already whether its a cheap grindfest or not so i can just stay far away from those. u know the kind of games that get hyped for a week and then u never hear from them again

Also in the OP's sense of logic... You are paying twice when you go P2P...

    1. for the monthly fee
    2. you work for your levels, gear, and what-nots... aka labor

On the note of the topic : If I didn't need money, and I was gaining experience with said work, I would totally do it for free. If your learning while you work for free and you don't have money problems then why not.
