Default What MMORPG has a lot of players?

    Hi there,

I want to play an MMORPG with a lot or a decent amount of players. I tried DFO a few days and it is a pretty funny game and it does has some players but I was wondering if there are other good MMORPGs that has a lot of players too? Since usually a lot of players means most of the time a fun/quality game.

I played or still play WoW, Cabal, DFO, LoL. So anything besides them

    Thanks!

Mabinogi, Vindictus, Dragon nest. All three are good games and have crap loads of players.

    Runescape

...oh you said players, not bots.

Guild Wars has plenty of players, and you can earn cosmetic stuff for GW2 if you are considering playing it.

MMO populations are in a contant shift. Something that is new, usually has a large player base. Also "bad" games tend to have a large player bases also. Not all. Because there are tons of people that prefer carebear, casual shitty games. That require 0 intelligence and skill. And dont require any real effort. So if you're like that. Go with the flow. Else look for hidden gems amongst mmo's. gl.

an MMORPG with lots of players doesn't necessarily mean its good as some of you have pointed out. some games are good that needs more players.

LoTRO and DDO have decent population across their servers. You also have a great community. You may see a troll/flamer in chat once every two weeks...maybe.

Dunno about US, but mabinogi EU is pretty much dead.
since when is Vindictus EU dead?
there are many players on + you get a party for every dungeon. This is
    far away from being dead.

perhaps you are playing from a different time zone?

edit: oh sorry..i was a bit confused. Mabi/Mabi Heroes - Vindictus crashed in my head

Uhm, Fenix, I think he's talking about Mabinogi EU, not Vindictus EU.

First off, if you are looking for PvP, they do not have what you are looking for. PvMP is an interesting concept, but it's not what a PvPer would call their type of game.

Now for the rest of it.

Leveling is great until you get to that lvl 3X point where you need content or it will be a grind. A great way to get through this is to do the two free skirmishes you get as a F2P member.

For content, you can always earn it. Once you get to that stuck point around lvl 30, go back to the other newbie zones (there is human, hobbit, elves, dwarves) and do the old quests for rep, marks for quest achievement trait, and do your slayer achievements. All this will grant you turbine points from 5-15 per competition.

    Or

Make a dwarf, do everything you can in the newbie zone, go to the elf newbie zone, then on to the shire. Moving the dwarf newbie zone and accomplishing all achievements up to bree will grant you quite a bit of TP and many of your traits and some ranks in them too. From lvl 20 on with the dwarf will be easy leveling. What ever you do, just dont spend the TP until you get trollshaws.

The storyline is great, graphics is wonderful (especially on higher end PCs), you got a lot to do and a lot to accomplish that can keep you busy. My favorite thing about the game is the crafting system. I wish majority of the crafting systems where similar to this.
