I almost died today.

Today, I was playing Minecraft on my laptop, sitting at a computer table right next to a wall (my shoulder is against the wall). Anyways, I'm just playing MC, minding my own business, when a beige spider pops out from behind my computer, right next to my shoulder. We locked eyes for 3 minutes or so, then I realized that I was looking at a spider so my nipples went hard, I rolled my chair as hard as I could, but carefully as to not damage my laptop, the spider fell off the wall which was mortifying, and then I jumped off the chair, kicked it mid air to gain speed, landed on my mattress, did an epic backwards summersault, landed on the ground and ran up the stairs, grabbed a sweeper but it was gone when I got there. I switched locations and now I can't play MC properly because for one, I had no other desk to put the laptop on, so I have to put my mouse on my lap so I can't control my character as well as I'd like to.

All this because of a spider.

Why are they so scary?

I mean, normally I'd suggest scooping it up in a bowl or something and letting it go, or just letting it live...but since you're so terrified of spiders, why not go into rage mode?

Its not like a bee that can fly at you and sting you? Get to smashing dood.

Ikr, that's the silly thing. I can crush it under my thumb, yet I'm afraid to.

Ya I wouldn't let that one live either. Rule is, if its bigger than a quarter and not a daddy long legs I destroy it for the greater good of my home and sense of security

But still, very smashable. Shoulda used the mouse to crush his guts out. Its even on a string if its a corded one.

I tried to kill it with a sweeper, like I said, but it fell on the floor and was gone.
Oh well, it'll be somewhere else tomorrow.

The scariest part of all of this though is that I had to get up slowly so I don't damage my laptop, worst experience ever.
