Default i've got more spam than a canned ham.

    I'm not new. I'm a lurker.
(I've done a crapton of intro threads and have been using forums over a decade so it is exceedingly more difficult to introduce yourself. but I'll give it a go. Warning: this may take awhile)

Turning the corner, the small tour group stopped short at the sight before them. The Humana sculpture loomed over them, ominous as always, a reminder of the sacrifices of the first human resistance against the oligarchy. No, that was not what made their face contort with fear. No, something else put that there. The presence of Apollo, arms cross over his impressive chest, the hounds of Dirgen perched happily at either side of him. Gliding towards the group, he raised his hand as if to caress something. A chill spread over them. "Hybridchi

I'm not ashamed to say I actually read through all of that. That's some intro! We should get along just fine! Though I get along with everyone so it isn't much of a compliment, but the compliment is still there. Welcome to OnRPG's house of non lurking. <3

You're definitely interesting to say the least. Welcome to OnRPG.

From one lurker to another, what made you decide to start posting? I've been meaning to ask a lot of people that actually and now seems to be a perfect opportunity, that is of course you don't mind me asking.

^ why did I decide to start posting..... interesting question. hmm..

    Why I didn't start posting:

    1. I remember when I first started doing the whole forum thing a little more than a decade ago. And when I say "forum thing" I mean actively posting on a forum. My first experiences with it was really great. Problem is that when you start doing the "forum thing" you get attached to people. At the time I joined, I wasn't in much of a position to be part of a community that I might fall in love with. You start having to worry and care about people and whatnot.

    2. My experiences with forums is that once computers became more prevalent more and more quality forums (free of the people crazier than me) started to become harder find. And when they weren't I always felt like "yep this one is either going to die soon or there's a secret crazy posing as a regular".

So that's why I didn't start posting immediately. I find it depressing to read forum posts only to find that it's either not active or active once every other month.

I actually started posting because of
    1. Time restraints became less restraining
    2. Boredom combined with a google search
    3. I remember browsing through my email and seeing a star next to the confirmation email for when I signed up
    4. I saw that certain sections were in need of a "ceecee dazzle" and I found that I wouldn't mind being part of this community whether I think it'll die or not
    5. I had a recent bad experience online that kinda sent me well outside my comfort zone so I want to kinda bash my fears in the head with a stick and say "I am me and I am not afraid of [censor] and [censor].

    So there you go.
