With the impending date of basic training approaching, I have a few months to get myself in shape.

Right now im not fat or anything, im actually kinda lean, 6'1 164 pounds. I want to get up to 185 preferably before basic training.

I plan on bulking up, by eating four to five thousand calories a day, its pretty possible, but at the same time I don't want to get fat and end up not being able to be physically fit.

In terms of body shape im in now, im more a mesomorph combined with a ectomorph; Skinny buff, as I would call it.

Or would it be better to just skip bulking and just focus on training my endurance?
