Computer Dilemma
Okay, so... recently something happened to my hard drive. I got it corrupted or something. So I had to re-install WindowsXP. No biggy, I just lose all my games, music, photos, etc. So I re-install it, but I forget to unplug the internet, so as I'm installing it I get a virus. It's the winlogon.exe virus. Yay for me! Now, currently I've kept it and it's companions dormant in the AVG Virus Vault so they are no big problem at the moment.
But my graphics in games are noticebly worse than usual! I'm wondering, if this is a graphics card problem (highly unlikely), or is it because of the virus?
And also - should I re-install Windows in hopes of getting rid of this "graphics downgrade" or should I just keep it the way it is, since nothing is really wrong except for the graphics?! (and have to re-install all my games and apps again!)
*sigh* sometimes I wish I had the best gaming computer in the world with no problems whatsoever, with: ATI X1950 XTX Cross-fire, ATI X1950 XTX, Intel Conroe Core 2 Extreme x6800, and a Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme sound card, and a LEGIT and UN-PIRATED WindowsXP (which I have)
