Nexon's half completed mmo VS P2P's quality mmo
Nexon's half completed mmo VS P2P's quality mmo
Reputation: 123Not to defend nexon but most of their games are very well done. They just have terrible service and BRs all over the place in the more competitive one or goldbuying botters in the others.
The quality of the games are good, the service delivered by NexonNA just completely blows.

A Triple A MMO generally ranges from 30$ - 60$ upon release. Starwars is backed by its name, so yes there will be collector editions and what not. If you have the money spend it.
There will never be a F2P MMO with the amount of quality and support compared to P2P mmos. When a game costs millions of dollars to make, you have to have some kind've cash flow to fill what was depleted.
P2P mmos usually die because of bad management from the higher ups. Look at WAR, Age of conan, and FFXIV. All Triple A titles, yet have gone F2P because of terrible management.
And as far as balance goes, A P2P MMO with a cash shop generally offers you fluff items. Mounts, new outfits etc.
A F2P MMO at times lets you buy 2 win. Look at Maplestory, you can control the economy if you have the cash flow to back up scrolling.
Its funny cause some people blow like 200$ in cash shop and complain about a 60$ game or a 15$ sub.
Reputation: 480What does the first 30 days have to do with anything? They already made 60$ off you for your purchase. To continue your sub after your first month is all up to you; Its irrelevant. and the odds of "everyone" leaving after the first month are the same of a football field sized meteor hitting the earth.
F2P games, for the most part lack any type of challenge and are far from "Story driven". Seeing as most of them are imported from the oriental world.
Fan boys? Starwars is a great story to base a game off of. After the first surge of players the sub will indeed drop, but i doubt it will be fan boys. SWTOR Isn't all that bad of a game actually. Its a typical MMO based on the starwars, that alone is enough to drive people in. Also 15$ a month is chump change, i can wipe my *** with it; literally, I spend more money on toliet paper.
Nearlly every f2p game i've played I just dropped and uninstalled later in that day because they bore me to death and in general i've never liked any f2p combat system either, they feel awful... I have a brain but it simply cannot stand the pure garbage of f2p games, some could have easily been great if they had the funding during production.
Oh and yes I am kind of biased, I like my women straight and my mmo's shiny in 1080p
