    Default Random download? Virus?

    Lol so I just went to ebay and noticed something random downloaded to my desktop - "i.gz" which shows as an archive.

    Of course I didn't unzip it and I deleted it immediately...but what the hell just happened haha.

    Am I bein haxored by dem anonmis? THEY DUN GOOFED.

    Probably some kind of javascript exploit in an ad or something. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you go rid of it and have anti-virus.

    Should have opened it in sandboxie, then played with it til it does something fun.

    hmm same thing happen on my grandmas computer but it was a browser hijacker scan your computer bro just to be safe

    It could be some update files from a background app. Happened a few times to me.

    Still, if you think it's dangerous, scan your pc.
