*shrug* maybe he's into the macabre? I mean people decorate their houses with all kinds of things. Some folk find it completely acceptable to place taxidermy as wall hangings in a home so using the remains of animals as decorations shouldn't be something abnormal.
Don't people marvel at the remains ancient creatures in museums? Is it strange that we decorate those buildings with those objects? Is it only ok because they are no longer around? Or is it a matter of location that is what makes it socially acceptable in a museum and not in a home?
Decorations aside, hell, women even used to wear bone corsets to help them keep their "shape" *shrug*.
Oh right, he wanted them to be laid out at a party so that's what's strange, right? I'm still amazed though that humans find it perfectly normal to cut down a tree, place that mug in the center of their house and cover it in tinsel or creamate their deceased family members and placed them in urns in their homes but hey, different strokes. We all celebrate and revere differently.
