I prolly wont be playing much. Basicly I shoot at people and they turn around to shoot me when I am spraying bullets, I think its just a kink thats needs to be worked out.

I played the beta. They have a really good idea of how they wanna make this game play out when its released, and plus its on the Unreal engine, but the devs just can't code for shit. Its terrible, there are a SHIT load of bugs that just KILL the game of being any way fun. And it sucks, cause you can customization so much things.

I recommend playing it. It's a lot of fun and very polished for a F2P FPS.
Reputation: 10downloaded and played for an hour. it was okay, i'm sure it'd be A LOT more fun if it wasn't so laggy. the graphics look pretty amazing maxed cuz of the engine. random freezeups/navigating the menus gets annoying annoying though. is there an explanation for the terrible lag?
man the core client is terrible, i really do hate that a lot of f2p companies are starting to use launchers its even worse that they use pando which i have non stop problems with.
Well Im playing since phase 1. IGN: Skalashnikov.

i have given up on patching getting pando to work is not even worth the effort, if they ever give us a direct download then i shall return, or if someone uploads the patches somehow.
Here's an unofficial direct download mirror:

Reputation: 10I get bad fps on the game, not sure why. It jumps from like 45-60 but it's noticeable. I have a GTX 560 as well...
Played it on max settings and it uses 2.5GB of RAM, really? Together with the random crap I have running in the background I get easily to 90% RAM usage (out of 4GB ). And with that the game starts freezing every now and then.
Another thing is the pando media booster. Apparently its not just used for the download of the game, but for the connections in the game aswell. It wouldn't be so bad if it wouldn't use 100% of my upload speed capacities. I am not living alone in my house and having high upload stress the connection even more than high download, resulting in everyone in my home network lagging like shit.
But since I have stuff like netlimiter installed I limited it to 15kbs instead of my fullspeed of 150kbs. And guess what, there was no change in gameplay at all. No lag, no delay. So why use everything my upload speed can give? For what? Nothing?
Also I really don't understand why use the 1day limit on stuff you can buy with 500 GP (ingame currency)? I get that much within 2 matches.
From what I understand Pando media booster is just a P2P program that sucks down your upload bandwidth for other people to download.
In other words, it's a program that a game company uses to shovel off upload quota onto the players so they don't have to pay as much and the players are copping the costs of the quota.
Uninstall it imo, it's a horribly sneaky program. With netlimiter is the pando media booster program itself a separate program you can limit the upload speed on? If so just limit that to less than 1kb so it's not uploading anything.

NetLimiter is a seperate program, you can limit the bandwidth usage on all processes that are running.
Thanks for the info about the use of pando, I uninstalled it and apperently it really isn't needed in order to play BLR. But the next crappy program they use is PunkBuster =/
Reputation: 10Anyone know if theres a manual download for 0.932? I can't get CORE to update the game past 99% at all. Reinstalling PMB and CORE didn't seem to help, nor did disabling my firewall.
