    Start > Control Panels > Add or Remove > Find Ad-Aware (usually at the top since it starts with A-) > Remove > Uninstall > Try now.

    and I have a feeling that it has something to do with your Operating System.

    maybe he means spyware instead of ad-aware, in that case just download ad-aware and remove it
