Default Say NO to Shutdown policy and Cooling-off policy

South Korean government has approved a policy suggested by the Ministry of Gender Equal that forces all game players younger than age 16 ban from playing online games during 12AM - 6AM every day.

Another policy submitted from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology called "Cooling-off Policy" is also now approved.
This policy forces the online game companies to disconnect all accounts of players under age of 17 for 10 minutes if they have played more than 2 consecutive hours and allows them to re-connect only "once".

The lawmakers supporting those two policies addressed that the policies are to prevent violent crimes of teenagers in school.

But what does online gaming has anything to do with school violency?

This will bring nothing but diminishing the potential of Game Industry in South Korea

How many people (regardless of age) do stupid shit and later cite video games/movies/music as the reason for why they did it?
