Your body needs to get used to lifting weigths, a starting strength workout plan is always recommended.
Even if you just want a nice shape, SS is enough.

    Thanks guys!

Another question, i never been into weight lifting before (been focusing on cardio, coz i think weight lifting is a hassle and now my physio told me that i have to do weight lifting to maintain my body >_<), is there any stuff i should do before starting on the workout plan? like getting used to the weights or w/e. Or do i just get to the plan?

edit: oh wait, I found the actual content http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wi...rting_Strength

I don't even know how to do any of these exercises, or even what most of them are. huh. maybe I'll look them up later.

I know shit about strength training, and I'm not very strong. which is why I'm into long distance running. it's less technical and confusing and expensive. all you need is an ipod, headphones, and also running shoes, and shorts.
Lol thanks for the link, saves me time reading the wall of text

    Thanks.

I thought racking it yourself might damage your shoulder or anything bad

honestly, explain. People keep face palming me without explaining. I'm pretty sure yall have no damn clue about the toll of excessive exercise on your body. So please, fill me in oh-wise-no-explaining folk.

if someone has to lift it, your doing to much weight, simple as that. The spotter is only there to keep you from killing yourself when you think you can do more weight than you should be doing, or if your having a bad day.

if you can't push it back up, then you can't just put it back up.
