SPOILERThe little girl they were searching for the first half of the season was inside the in the farm, already turned into a zombie, they set their temporary camp. So they kinda wasted days searching for her. That episode was pretty epic. I even shed a tear :(

And they should. Its an adaption, not a cookie cutter copy of the comic book.

The creator of the comic is on set so its not like the changes are slipping past the man who done it all. Tho i agree the comics are way better. But the original is usually like that.

I am personally sick and tired of all the generic zombie movies that come out lately. The Walking Dead is somewhat a fresh breeze which doesn't just focus around BANG!POW!BOOM HEADSHOT *****!

I particularly enjoy it, because you get to see the emotional toll it takes on people over a period of time, and having to watch all of your loved ones die or get turned into zombies.

That aspect is often lost in zombie movies which have a limited time span, and is usually overshadowed by peoples fear and panic.

Both are good, but I do like the new (more realistic?) look at a zombie apocalypse situation.

If it was just a movie. A normal 90-120minute movie. All you would really see is none stop zombie action. But since its a series, youre going to get the character development and backgrounds or more flashback like bits added here and there. Im a sucker for a good story, so i cant argue with the lack action.
