I particularly enjoy it, because you get to see the emotional toll it takes on people over a period of time, and having to watch all of your loved ones die or get turned into zombies.
That aspect is often lost in zombie movies which have a limited time span, and is usually overshadowed by peoples fear and panic.
Both are good, but I do like the new (more realistic?) look at a zombie apocalypse situation.
