WELL I'LL BE DAMNED!
So, looks like things aren't going to go well for the NA version.

Sigh wanted to play the korean version this week.
I wonder if aeriagames will release Lime odyssey here soon ppl reported 300 diffrent bugs during the first alpha test and there is a new alpha beta that started this week

Reputation: 64Also in the report, the reason they are shutting it down is because of the bugs and sever instability, which they can't fix. So does that mean the western version will launch full of bugs?
And no direct impact? THIS THE developer....
Not looking so good.
EDIT: expect Areia to release it sooon, to claw back some of the money wasted.

In
Pieces ...
The korean publisher is shut down but the actual developing company is still up and running and will support the NA version.... at least that's what Aeria says. So there may still be some hope for the game.
Just looking at the Aeria LO forum.. Wow those people get sucked into what Aeria staff say so easily lol..
Such a shame I've been waiting for LO to come out for a while now and this happens. Not the end of the world but if they can't work out bugs for the KR release then what hope do they have for the NA release.. They'll probably need to re-work some parts of the game like Legend of Edda had to by taking it down for a long period of time.
Or they could just ignore the bugs and keep on going, look at Cloudnine by Netgame which has had the same freezing and erroring issues in PVP arenas for over 2 years and never been touched lol, but they'll lose alot of players that way =x
I can now see why LO wasn't rushed out like X-Legend games are.
I'll still play the game tho and see what happens.
So Lime Odyssey is gone and Ragnarok Online II sucks.
Oh boy, RO sure doesn't want a sequel.
Reputation: 25ppl forgot about thailand LO, its still running fine,
most of you havnt even play the obt only alpha so no shiz theres bugs
Reputation: 46Haha, aeriagames. I had a friend who got banned for buying bot gold or something before he ever even downloaded one of their games. Too funny.
Reputation: 25Exactly.. You think Aeriagames is competent enough to run a game where there will be no new content and is full of bugs - now with little to no help from the creators? Aeria drops games all the times, and clearly they are incompetent with their GM and ban procedures.
That being said, I can expect them to drop the game in the coming weeks. I always wondered why they decided to go Alpha for so long, and also why they made it so limited. Clearly this game was a dud. It was too good to be true. >.<
Eh. I haven't played TH version that much. TH is different though. Most don't understand how incompetent and corrupt Aeriagames is. TH host may be able to manage the game for its people, but AG is hopeless without help from the devs, and I don't see the devs helping them that much once they close down. lol
Reputation: 882i never understood the hype for this game anyway, it looks like every other shitty grinder out there lol, when will people learn
"Playing: Trickster!"
I mean, really now. If we are going to complain about Asian grindfests let's try not to be completely biased. Regardless if the game is isometric or a 2D sidescroller, if it comes from Korea people should expect grind, that's a given.
Considering every Korean game will have some degree of grind in it, focus on the other features of the game, if it has any that are relevant.
