Smelly kids in class....

I mean I can understand once in a while, maybe you didn't have time to shower after a workout or maybe your water is down for the day or something, but my finance course this semester has a kid that smells so bad you literally smell bad after having to sit next to him for the class.(many people have raised this point) It's as if the kid has never taken a shower or washed his clothes at all.

I mean is taking a shower at least once every couple of days to much to ask for? Have some respect for everyone else stuck in the small draft less class room with you. Well at least he wont be competition for any jobs later on after graduation so I guess that's always a plus.

i knew a kid like that back on school that even though he got bullied with it he didnt really change anything about it. now that a think back.. maybe he had a skin disease? (and maybe the kid on your school has too?)

If anything it is mental the kid is constantly dirty (clothes, skin..everything ffs). He could have metabolic disorder but that can be easily controlled through the use of antiperspirants, as body odor is caused by the bacteria on our skins breaking down the sweat in many different forms one such result is fatty acids giving off that "wtf is that shit" smell. Meaning the disorder would only result in a substantially noticeable odor if the individual has taken no steps what so ever to cover it up(over a prolonged period of time as well). While he him self might not be aware of his own odor the fact that people go out of their way to avoid him should be evidence enough that something is awry.

And judging by how bad he smells it been a long time sense he showered and or even thought about antiperspirants at all. I went on a week long hiking trip with guess what..no showers and I didn't even smell a quarter as bad as this kid does.


I just merely stated my dislike of having to be stuck in a small draft less room with said smelly people for 3 hours every Tuesday night. My comments on why can't he take a shower at least every couple of days was an honest question?

He can afford a college education (11k a semester here) and a car but can't seem to find a shower any where? Or by some antiperspirants (assuming the smell is caused by excessive sweating instead of bad habits). The kid lives on campus by the way so not having access to a shower would seem very odd to me. As I live on campus two and my apartment alone has 2 showers.


Sorry if my dislike of smelly people upsets anyone but they annoy the crap out of me, even if you cant stop it at least hide the smell with some cheap bottles of axe for other peoples sake. As even the horrible smell of axe would be a pleasant change of pace from the just puked on smell of a back seat in a taxi.

A (sort of) friend of mine used to stink badly. I knew him since my first day at school up until high school. Naturally we silently made fun of him when we were younger and when we occasionally went to his place it was even worse as the whole apartment was smelly. One day we just told him what we think and surely he was a bit pissed at us but didn't show it. Weeks went by and eventually he took care of himself and didn't smell after that any more.

In my old class, this kid always came to class so musty, and not the underarm kinda musty, but that fishy smell, it was like a permanent body odor.
Damn, it was so horrible that I would develop a headache from it. I dont like smelly people, maybe if you're homeless sure. But if you have access to a shower, use that shit and save other people from having headaches.
Im happy I have a established sense of hygiene.

Depends as I am not talking of a mild body odor that can be caused by everyday activity (something I have stated many times all ready). The kid in question smells so bad he makes the entire room smell bad you can smell him from 20 feet away. His smell is so god damn bad your clothes catch a small scent from sitting next to him.

Also no I'd rather she smell normal but if her normal is ridiculously bad body odor caused by what ever (lets face it more than likely bad hygiene, as even if you have a disorder that causes excessive sweating proper hygiene can control the smell and virtually eliminate it) then yes I would.
