Hell, I run this game at max settings on this :
Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz (yup, single core)
2 GB DDR RAM 400 MHz (yeah that's old stuff)
ATI RADEON HD3850 512 MB DDR3 (but here's the catch, it's not a PCI-e card, it's an AGP slot card)

    thats copied from somewhere

and i have the same computer but better graphics card and i get 21fps that dips to 10 when i walk...wtf?
Well , those computer are really way too old , and you only have 1 single core , which do not help when doing lot of things thus PVP , your CPU-Ram and GPU are not working together nicely thus giving you bad frames , i do not play AION , but thats only logical computer stuff which i am good in (not like my English) , Do not expect to play on ULTRA with Crisis with that computer , you know what i am saying..

go with Default engine, it works great and also if it chops too much while loading chars set char detail on auto.

Get a better rig, lower your settings or play another game.

That's all the advice I can think of right now, if anyone knows something else then please share.

I had a little problem with Aion pvp lag too, until I turned off the name tags; never had a problem again.

That setup is WAY too old. My i5 with an Intel-HD graphics card laptop runs aion at 50-60fps on low settings.

Mate. You're PC is terrible. Especially for 2012. You have too little, too slow RAM, and your CPU is ****ing awful. Stop acting like it's at all even decent by today's standards and just accept it's not up to par to handle an updated version of Aion.

Vindictus is a room based game that happens to run on the Source engine, which is very optimised. For a large scale MMO, you're computer SHOULD struggle to run it.

When you're being stupid and people are trying to help you, don't disregard them and continue being a complete and utter shit. But instead thank them, try it once in a while.

I'm sorry to inform you of this, but there is no possible card better than the HD 3850 for AGP. Even an HD 4650 (there is no 4850 for AGP) is not as good as the HD 3850. So yeah, don't even say you have "the same pc with a better graphics card" because anything better than a 3850 for AGP simply does not exist.

Your CPU is also another giant factor. Even if you have a HD 4650, a single core CPU will bottleneck an HD 4650 way too much to make it worthwhile anyway.

40 fps in sanctum. 50 in dungeons.

but fort defense/raids....if there are more than 30 ppl, my fps utterly drops.

    running:
    radeon hd 4890 1GB
amd phenom II x4 955 black edition 3.3 Ghz
    700W PSU
    8GB DDR3 ram

thinking of getting a hd 6870 to balance my gpu for modern games though...(battlefield 3, mass effect 3, skyrim, etc)
