Unreal Engine 3 Shooter Mercenary Ops Coming to NA and EU

Epic Games China's Unreal Engine 3 TPS Mercenary Ops plans to head to North American and Europe this summer and the publisher is Delkans, a company which you may never heard before. The game made its debut in GDC 2012 in San Francisco and showed attendees some of its features.

Like other modern third person shooters, there is a Gears of War style cover system that allows you to quickly approach to safe place and observe the situation in front of you and enemies' movement. Blind fire and active reloading mechanics are also the highlights of this game. Looking from the GDC trailer, Mercenary Ops is set in modern day and you can play both male and female characters in the game.

The game has been available in China for a while and the Chinese official site suggests players have a Nvidia 7600GT graphics card and 2GB RAM at least.

Ive learned by now to never trust the outlook of upcoming games based on flashy trailers and pimped up screenshots alone.

That being said, this does look interesting, but name-dropping Gears of War like that, it better be good.
