Gonna roll a Power Mesmer build with 2handed sword and pistol, switching for staff if need be.

have been looking for it in the videos and the power mesmer build is really quite good.

At least i liked the combos and dmg ^^... also pretty happy the portal/teleport ability CAN be used on enemies as well which gives much a much larger range of ideas on how to troll and kill enemies better

Good thing about staff is it can fit in basically every single mesmer build, assuming you use it right.

Gonna be Asura Ranger ... and gonna make Paladin build on some race :] Thinking of sylvary for that :]

I'm thinking guardian ( I assume you meant Guardian, if not sorry) fits the human and sylvari race personally.......of course everything fits human from a theme perspective fairly easily.

I say sylvari though because 1. One of the personal story choices in creation involves you basically taking down a invincible "knight" who abuses his power.

and 2. Because Sylvari really do seem to me like they are nature's response to the dragons. Nature's "secret weapon" if you will put into motion by Ventari without his knowledge.

Haven't quite decided what race I'll go with, but I know I'm going to either be Thief, Mesmer or Guardian. Probably all of the above eventually.

But either Mesmer or Guardian will be coming first.

Well, I know my main is going to be an Elementalist, just not sure between Human or Sylvari, and then a Mesmer of whichever I don't pick. I'm going to hold off on Necromancer until I see how they play out after the official release, was more into the minion builds in the early CBWs, but they kept turning out underwhelming to me.

Honestly not that big on Norn or Asura, but I definitely know I want a Charr at some point, just don't know what. Possibly Ranger.

I recall reading somewhere that B2P games will be considered F2P for the sake of sections. Whether that still applies or not is beyond me.
While I understand we have sections for a reason, it seems rather foolish to be inflexible regarding this rule. If the big majority of people would rather have thread in the other section, why move it? It's not like we (as a community) gain anything by moving it to a less populated area.

Lol I'm presented with nothing but a black screen (besides the Charr race description at which I assume to be the race selection and "FEMALE" with the gender selection screen). Funny thing is that my graphics card should be well within range to tolerate the game. It's gonna be nearly impossible to reach the options screen to configure graphical settings. @_@

Lol my computer just died. I was in the middle of a boss fight and I guess it just couldn't handle the like 500 people in one spot.
