Sounding the same as someone else isn't necessarily bad. Its pretty hard to have some sort of original idea with music anymore. And everyone who does, or tries, usually fails.
RJA isnt my cup of tea. But then again, neither is gaga or kate perry or whatever. New faces doing the same old shit. Thats not the reason i dont like them tho. Mostly they just suck.
Anyway, at one point in time i did enjoy the emo/core stuff. A Static Lullaby was one of my favorite bands ever. Charred Fields of Snow is pure love for me. But its been awhile since ive heard any of these new bands so i cant argue either way. Just not my style anymore i guess.

Yet they're both classified as "Jrock"
If you were to say the same about Visual Kei, then it'd be totally right.
