They said they had 2 expansion planned for D3. Ofcourse, this will continue the story. Alot of people compare D2 LoD with D3. But you should compare D2 classic with D3. LoD expansion completely changed D2 and added tons of content. So alot to look forward too.

People seem to have forgotten expansion packs. Instead of making a brand new game they can create an expansion pack using the same game code in a fraction of the time that adds another act or two like LoD for D2

I believe Chris Metzen already stated in a interview he knows the story for diablo 4 so its kind of a mini conformation, that being said that will be a long time off and im sure this section of the story will be completed through expansion packs, you never know though.
Edit: looks like the game is still a joke in nightmare guess i have to power through and get to hell to start having some fun.

Using the AH really makes normal and nightmare a cakewalk. I'd recommend saving up all the money you make from running all of normal and nightmare modes and then spending it all on upgrades once you hit hell mode.
My wizard's "blow everything up" build is working pretty well in Hell Act 1 so far. Surprising, since reading the official forums makes you believe that the only possible way to go through hell as a wizard is to abuse the now broken force armor rune.

Only 90k and you are able to explore Act 4 Inferno from The Cystal Colonnade and farm your way slowly with good amazing drops. You can also buy the book for Inferno Whimsyshire.
Note: I will open it for you and then i leave so its easier for you to farm
