Reputation: 116Only reason i got my CE is for the statue of the diablo skull >3>
Also we really need a main part for diablo - it's getting to the point where it's a free MMO forum not a B2P one yet we have like 9 threads of diablo D:
Still doesn't beat any of the WoW Collector's edition or Darksiders 1/2 collector's.
Reputation: 116WoW's collectors edition for the past 4 have been the same as diablo :V
Art Book / Behind the Scenes DVD / Music CD / Mouse Pad / Pet / Cards
This you get
Art Book / Behind the Scenes DVD / Music CD / A Statuet of a Diablo skull / A SoulStone USB / The Original Games / A WoW Pet / SC2 Icons / Ingame Items
- I honestly feel it's alot better the only thing it missing is the mouse pad
And the only good thing for the Darksiders 2 CE is the Mask, it comes with Some DLC / art book / and sound track
"Unboxing" xD
And here I thought Onrpg couldn't get any more lame. Hahahaha.

Waiting for my friend's* pre-order.. lol)
There is nothing about a CE of any game that makes it "worth it." It's more about demonstrating your pure, unadulterated love for a game by paying a buttload extra for some useless stuff.
I stopped buying CE after WC3.
Just a series of eventual disappointment when we all know they will eventually run reprints to milk more money out of it.
They were worth it a long time ago, you know, when CE were numbered or, at the very least, in short supply.
It actually matched its namesake and held collector value.
Reputation: 10Uh, what reprints? As far as I know there have never been any reprints of Blizzard collector's editions which is why they're always put up for 2x+ the price on Ebay and whatnot. I think the only collector's edition still available in retail stores is the Cataclysm collector's edition because it didn't sell too well.
The physical items inside most collector's editions are okay to gawk at for a while. The recent trend of "Digital Deluxe Editions" is the bigger ripoff. SWTOR's DDE comes to mind with its crappy mount and a bunch of worthless vanity items for 20 bucks. Digital Deluxe items barely have any production cost to them so its easy to milk them compared to making hardcover art books, statues etc.
Right. Keep telling yourself that.
Cataclysm CE was sold out at release as well. So was SC2.
They were both readily available even months after release, as more inventories were magically found. SC2's supply eventually died out, whereas Cataclysm is still so readily available it's mildly hilarious.
If you think that's because it didn't sell well, then I have no words for you.
My CE was sent today. It will arrive tomorrow or on Saturday
To bad I can't play before the 15th though.
Reputation: 882@Verde. unboxing videos can be very helpful, just so u know whats inside. example: u buy a product but u dont know how long the cables are they provided with it or what kind of conectors it has (allot of online websites dont specify this), unbox videos are great for this. or in this case its just nice to see the content and size of everything delivered with the CE.
