All of the rights have been given to Schtack, so it's technically the official server for the game. I would play, but I just can't get into it anymore after playing it so many times.

If you haven't played it before, it's definitely a game that you need to try out.

This was my favorite game for a very long time, I just don't know if I have the willpower to get back into it again honestly. On the plus side, the game is very solo friendly if you just want to give it a shot to see if you like it. I think there's maybe 1-2 optional missions that require a group for some button pushing things, and the final boss of the hardest difficulty can be a bit of a PITA to solo, but by then I think you'll know if you like the game.

I still remember a few bosses in this game that gave me the fits back when I played, SO HARD T_T but so fun.

okay, well, no. PSO is just about THE biggest grinder you will ever play/have played.

It is but it isn't (right now at least). As much as they've buffed up the graphics and the gameplay, I don't find the atmosphere to be quite as memorable as PSOBB's. As of right now (and it's probably because PSO2 isn't even complete yet), PSOBB still holds the spot on my list for game with the best atmosphere out of any game I've ever played. I still find PSOBB to have a 'darker' attitude, and the enemy selection seemed to consist of more hostile and quirky monsters that seemed like ancient but advanced races (they really caught my attention). Yes, PSO2 is definitely a thousand steps further in gameplay and it would be silly to say that PSOBB is organized in a better way than PSO2 is. But again, I think this opinion also comes from the fact that PSO2 had very little content in the Beta, and it lacked the extensive amount of rare weapons and armor that PSOBB and PSU had (which was my favorite part about the actual game itself).

Again, if you haven't played it, play it. It was the first real MMO I ever really played, and it was one of two MMORPGs that I've ever payed for (two games since 7 years).

EDIT: The other game was PSU.
