    Default Tera collectors edition.

I've been thinking about buying this game, but not really sure. The last time I bought a p2p game I only ended up playing for like 30 days. Is the game really worth it, or shall I wait for a while for more updates?

D3 pretty much killed it and the quests are all the same. I'd save my money.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

Tera is shit, maybe they haven't realized that it's just not gonna work out or they went with a b2p and p2p odel anyways just to scam money from people for a while until theyre forced to make it f2p.

And sure, the quests are a little drab, but so is WoW's and GW2's and ANY MMO EVER.
From what I'm hearing GW2 adds a story to the quests, which completely changes everything apparently. No longer do you kill enemies just to get exp and gold, you also kill them to understand their hopes and dreams.

I'm guessing the bosses are also as dynamic in the questing system with their constantly changing attack patterns making them super difficult and completely unpredictable.

I really need to play GW2. Can't wait to see how revolutionary it is.

Sorry but some classes do suck,
slayer is OP no matter what you say, they have gaps closers, spammable range skill that hits like a truck? no?
dont tell me l2p ive played enough to know which class is shit and which class isnt.

None healing classes suppose to have alot of downtime while leveling yet its the least of their worries when leveling, while healers have more downtime than the dps/tank classes

Not sure if you are being serious or not but you are just setting your expectation too high for gw2.

The first bolded one is the stupidest thing ive heard in my entire life.
Aren't you ashamed of what you wrote?
The second one, what the **** is revolutionary? Its still the same thing u see in all mmorpgs expect some change in "questing". Yes they done it better than the rest of the mmorpgs but thats far from saying the game is revolutionary

I did play GW2 and I never really hyped it. In fact, these graphics and gamestyle reminds me of WoW
Only pvp i found delicate. Thats the only reason i bought it. If this game would have open pvp i would actually have real fun in that game beside only pvping on battlegrounds and the WvsW thing.

Just because some classes are better than others in 1v1 PVP doesn't mean any of them suck (1V1 PVP is kinda of pointless to be honest). In group situations there are a lot of different strategies that come into play. And a Mystic can easily put a Slayer out of commission by using Sonorous Dreams and not using Volley of Curses, which basically leaves them a sitting duck from a charged attack from a Berserker or getting jumped by multiple people (which is what I've done with random people when fighting off PKers). Hell you can even just leave them alone and take out any other targets if you wanted to because the stun lasts a pretty good while.

All of the classes are useful when played correctly. And strong support, DPS and Tanking are always useful in groups for PVE and PVP.

    So no, no class sucks.

It's true, it's really hard to tell when someone is being sarcastic online (granted from your response you haven't seen my previous posts about this topic which makes it even harder to tell), but thank you for proving my point good sir. I'll leave it at that and see if you can figure out the rest.

im having a lot of fun on tera actually and i cant wait till patches come out. adding in a pet system and guild housing. battlegrounds soon too. the game isnt in its complete full state and wont be for a few months but i promise you, once it is youd have more fun on it then you would on gw2.
gw2 is still the same as every other mmorpg. right click to attack and stand still or move around and faceroll 1234567890. oh generic npcs that attack towns and such? AKA RIFT? lmao its wow and rift put together. the pvp isnt that great anyway and compared to tera i have more fun. tera is like every new game it needs a few patches for you to see its prime.
its obvious actually but everyone is too ignorant on here to see it and keeps hating because everyone on here are d3 and gw2 fan boys who over hype there games and when they get released you cry and complain about how there bad when they really arnt at all.
lets see you make a game like tera or and game like d3 and gw2 then lets see how much hype you get for you game and what people are expecting to play and then when you give them what you actually have let them burn in agony from being disappointed because they over hyped the game that youve been showing them for years.

Or that cool gvG where u prob see 1-2 opposing guild members sometimes.. unless you actually have had an actual organize gvg which i wouldnt even say group pvp much,
Please im in a good guild and we do war often never seen ANY guild do organize guild pvp, until battleground comes out then we can start talking about THOSE classes you mentioned but by then the population isnt going to hold.
And are you a mystic atm?
tell me if u have EVER use those 2 melee with ****ing cast time in pvp lol.

Yeah I played all the classes except to priest a bit to see what their cast times are like (since apart from a few special skills, you get most of the bread and butter ones very early on). Granted that was just to 11 but I've seen how long it takes for a Berserker to change that full swing type move I'm also aware of it's individual timings for each level of power) and if no one attacks a person who's been bound by Sonorous Dreams, they'll stay that way for something close to 20 seconds, which is more than enough time for everyone to run up, wait for the zerk charge, then bum rush.

I know lancers/beserkers have a trick involving animation cancellations using their Guard skill which helps out a lot with catch people off guard. They can basically interrupt a number of their skill animations by quickly guarding then using the skill. And I've seen a number of Lancers use their charging skill to gain distance on Kiters as well.

I know I've partied up with some folk though and take down PKer's in the area. And when I did hit the person with the skill I mentioned as a Mystic, everyone had the common sense to attack at the same time and we downed the person in a single assault so I know it works.

In a 1v1 situation, it's unlikely you will get off a charge attack unless the person you are are fighting is stunned or knocked down and hasn't used their Retaliate skill or can lure them in by pretending to run away. But in group fights there's more than enough chances to pull off quick charges. It's also why some PKer's hunt in a minimum of two man cells so that one can distract and the other focus on attacking.

People not taking the time to organize a real GVG PVP War isn't much of an excuse for not having one just because there's no specific battle ground for it. If anyone really wanted to they could just have everyone meet up on a specific map and thrown down for fun as there are plenty of places big enough without any mobs nearby you can fight in. That can be done with just simple communications between the two guilds. I dunno why people are waiting on the battle grounds to come out to be honest. Ya'll should be practicing now.

i even use pet in pvp giving it a chance to see if it works, i glyphed it as well nope doesnt work.

You guys expect too mush from these games. I stopped playing MMO's for a couple years because of them not being what i expected. i didnt keep up with tera didnt play the beta even tho i got in. I love the game right now its actually alot of fun its a breathe of fresh air. I just got into the firefall beta and only played it twice and play tera everyday, or almost everyday. Still playing league tho everyday ofc xD

The game is good and very amazing. The questing is like every other MMORPG that ive played so i hate when people try to tell me its consistent. Ofc it is but so is playing WoW or Aion. The game is great and its vanilla right now. Its only been 3 weeks give it some time to jump start. Because even if its boring end game which i havnt even reached yet and im having fun getting to it, its still a great fun game and is better than most. Go pvp some people or duel or start some deathmatchs. Run instances over and over. Make some gold or something off of doing it and declare war on other guilds like North Korea. LOL Love when it pops up on my screen America declared war on North Korea.
