The main difference is in the touch/weight of the keys and pedals.
But it's great if you want to pick it up on a budget. I don't think it's that big of a deal. And not everyone has the space for a piano in their house.
Good luck! The piano is a beautiful instrument and it's very rewarding once you finally learn. If you have any knowledge of reading music notes it might be a bit easier.

well theres Alesis and Korg too, but Yamaha is pretty great. You pay for what you get in the music world, with an occasional bang for a buck. I'd say go into a music shop yourself and play around man. Gotta be comfortable with the music your making, especially the tools your usin'.![]()
