    @Jin-Roh:
    The notion that the Red Cross keeps it's profits is ******ed.

    Whom do you think they would give it to.

    Even if you say paying the employees is a form of "keeping the profit", that would be at the same time services of those employees at the value of this money given to the people they aid.

    Money can't drive you to the hospital, especially if you think that paying the driver is unethical.

    Wth...

    The Red Cross has no owner, no investors and no dividend it pays.
    All the money that goes in will be once spent on services committed. Well, if you are a charity, employing other charities to do charity work for you would be the absolute peak. Where do you think the money should go?
    If you say give it to the people in need; Doesn't it appear to you that they would just again pay it to the red cross to drive them to the hospital in that case?

    @Food and money:
    Do you really think that?
    It's so easy, you believe?

    Like in "I could pull it off" easy?

    Buy a ship, fill it with food, set sail, save the world?

    Mind you I don't tell you to do any of that, because I really don't see it working out.

    You can't do it.
    Don't blame others who can't equally.

    Funny however:
    Buffet is one of the initiators of the "Giving Pledge" initiative.
    Are you ready to give up half your net worth?

    Don't see you doing that either.

    Its* profit, just so we are clear, it is not 'it's', it is 'its'.

    Did you not read that they pay volunteers? Why would they NOT keep the money? It's untaxed profit, just like a church. It's super easy money and the law only requires you to hand out 5% of it. It's no wonder there are 20-30 million people who are millionaires... No one questions easy methods of money because they think no one would ever do such things. Yet we can easily believe killing is a thing. But oh noes, untaxed profit is not / can't be used for bad. Most people who are rich, are rich because they did things that no one else would do. They went around laws, tricked people under them and in the end, they get away with it.

    Yes it's that easy. Are you really going to put your head up your butt to say that if someone who can't spare money and can't go off to save the world, the people with too much money should not be expected to? How the hell did that make sense? Did you miss the part where 40kUSD is the average American income and 3mil is what you will earn/spend in your lifetime? You're going to bullshit about how those people who have multi-lifetime profit should stay that way when they are making a million+ PER YEAR?

    Apparently I need to make this as clear as possible...

    Average Americans earn/spend a few million dollars in their entire lifetime.

    Average rich Americans earn/spend a few million dollars every few years of their lifetime.
