Desktop is three times cheaper than a laptop. If you want to run everything then you will spend thousands of dollars. I've already started saving up for a high end laptop because they are expensive as ****.

Desktops are for gaming. Laptops are for general usage and non demanding gaming. It is so pointless to spend so much money on a laptop for gaming, the battery life is shit and they are generally louder, bulkier and heavier. They also outdate much quicker and will not get nearly as good performance as a lower priced desktop. Unless you want to break the bank or play games on low settings then buy a good desktop.

My battery life is fine, I keep it plugged in non-stop.
It's way quieter than my old desktop (gtx285, fans at 100%).
It's not really bulky or heavy.

I agree with the last though. Desktops are easier as well.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

I did say generally :P, a lot of newer ones don't seem to be as bad as before. I do think that djfizzle already has a decent desktop, but if you don't want to spend a lot then stick with that.
