anyone notice the lack of unique weapons in MMO's?

It seems like theres only basic weapons theres usually just long sword and greatswords, they never have like a short sword and a long sword and even a bastard sword, or some games dont even have axes or hammers, NO game every has a scythe which is like the coolest weapon of all time.

And some games dont even have Maces or morningstar's id love to see a Glaive in a game i know some games use halberd's but the classes usually arent very fun. OH and i know Tera has the Lancer class.

I second that, but Seven Souls if im not mistaken does have chakrams and scythes for the mage class.

But yeah i agree mmorpgs should have lots of weapons for diversification and more playability, i second scythes and throwable chakrams ( like kingdoms of amalur mage class)

and purses
