If compared to LoL, I'd still say the superior one is LoL. But it's also seems VERY beta, so not a fair comparison. Hhean's review sums up my feelings on it so far.
However, the fact that there is a spider character (Arachne) gives smite some extra points in my book.

i agree. i do enjoy the speed of this game though, in LoL i gotta amek sure i wont be bothered fora hour. in smite a match usually lasts between 20-30 minutes. I know LoL is intended to be long its just good to have a MOBA where i can just log on play a quick match then go back to what i was doing.

Hel makes a RIDICULOUSLY effective healer if you stack cooldown reduc items and some MP5/Mana to make up for the higher burn.
400+ huge AOE heal on a 6 second cooldown? Yessir. I've had a couple of guys just straight rage quit over it.

Yeah crit dmg and life steal on her she's a trainwreck. Also after playing anubis if you go pure ap you hit like a mother****er 600dps with my 3 and little less with my 1.

I had the same issue I leveled up twice from 1 match and only got 1k favor now im missing about 2k favor points. Hopefully this rare occurrence is fixed by the time its fully out.

Artemis is indeed too good, instant traps and one of the best ultimates in game imo...but it's also easy to counter since all you have to do is stay behind a tank and Artemis won't be able to touch you except with the AoE spell which doesn't do much damage anyway. But yeah... 1v1 in lane is probably one of the best gods, specially vs casters since they die pretty much in the duration of the boar stun.wow this game is awesome... 3 hours passed insanely fast!!! 4 games and 4 victorys

Scratch that, Hel just seems broken all around. With all of her stance abilities on their own cooldowns, ***** puts out some pretty insane damage coupled with a cleanse, a heal, and a movement/mdef debuff.
It seems that if you don't get stomp Hel into the dirt in the early game, then she can maul pretty much anyone who isn't Sorbek just by firing abilities off cooldown

For future reference Hel is female. and Hel still hits like a truck fed or not 400+dmg black orbs 400+black dust yeah kinda nasty lets also not forget its an aoe. She can also regen mana fast by swapping stances. Finally when you guys get a new god please go solo practice we dont need people in lv 6+ queues trying to play a god for the first time. it really brings the whole team down when you feed.

The feeding gets better? Level 10 and I just had a guy go 0-10 before any towers dropped.
Game before was 0-12, 0-8 and 2-9. Then myself and another teammate both positive scores.

Sigh... Just had a bad game. And it's not because my team wasn't doing so well. It's that they gave up the game when there was still a big chance of winning. It's stupid. We had just wiped 3 of their team out, we could have pushed. But now, they did a 4v1 surrender poll and quit.
I've seen games completely turn around with a team of worse players and a lot worse situations. I'm tired of people giving up without actually trying.
