Also, this is stupid of everyone to be saying. I'm sure all those kids know better. And thats what makes it really ****ed up. If they were just stupid and didn't know that was inappropriate, it'd be one thing. But they know exactly what they're doing and still persist. Don't blame the parents. Those kids are old enough to know better on their own and deserve the full punishment themselves. I almost bet those kids are treated like golden little saints at home. And this is how they behave when not under constant supervision.
I have plenty of friends whose parents didn't give a flying **** about them and they grew up to be very nice people. The only people I've ever seen acting like this are overprivileged douchebags. People with poor upbringings often tend to try to make up for it by being polite.

I don't like it how poor means miserable and so on.
She didn't look that miserable.
She looked upset, but not shaken.
I would take that as a sign, that there really isn't a need to "fix her life". She looked as if her life has enough value already, she has kids, she can do w/e she wants basically and she made it through life on her own. Humble tokens of respect are one thing, but this is getting far from being humble.
This is some sort of detached self-gratification thing, some idea of gaining a victory over the situation, rather than anyone even caring what will happen to her life.
