I don't like it how poor means miserable and so on.

I would take that as a sign, that there really isn't a need to "fix her life". She looked as if her life has enough value already, she has kids, she can do w/e she wants basically and she made it through life on her own. Humble tokens of respect are one thing, but this is getting far from being humble.

This is some sort of detached self-gratification thing, some idea of gaining a victory over the situation, rather than anyone even caring what will happen to her life.

These days you might as well be an adult in middle school. I was almost charged with sexual assault for playing a game of truth or dare. This was like 7 years ago, its even more serious now.

No, things are not worst. Each years it gets less and less serious because of the amount of bullshit the parents give us for getting their kids in trouble. They threaten to contact the board and that's the end of that. ChildxChild is different than ChildxAdult situations as well.

Physically touching someone without their permission should be enough to get you removed from any situation.

Yeah, again, if you're a teenager. You may think that rules are more enforced when dealing with the students doing something to the employees, but that's not the case.

Recent investigations found it was all just a stunt, the charity to raise money was started by Karens husband.

I see this as a sarcastic joke post but I kinda hope it's true. While I'm all for support for someone getting mercilessly bullied like this, the funding is ridiculous. Money isn't going to buy any dignity or self-worth back. It isn't going to reverse anything that was done. $600k is a good chunk that would be unbelievably more helpful at a charity. I could see a fund going towards helping her pay bills to maybe find a better job, but what happened was overkill.

Sad & lonely people condemning them. People make mistakes and should have to learn from them, not slowly suffer and have every day made horrible because of 10 minutes of wrong doing.
