[EDIT] I see they made it extremely easy to get the mag license now. I remember you had to get 2 rockbear claws and to unlock the caves get S rank in 20minutes on mission 3 and 4 and get 20 special drops from rappy's xD

How do you level up your mag?

Feed it random items. Depending on what the item is, it'll raise a certain stat. The level of your mag is the level of all of your mag's stats combined.
