Default Look! There be aliens! [a Discussion]

This thread is a topic not to discuss aliens themselves, but rather to discuss what aliens might say or think about us. I'm sure you guys have read the not-so-creepy-pasta creepy pasta about aliens coming across humans (trying to destroy us, being disgusted that we are meat bags, etc..).

So, here we will share what we personally think what aliens will, if they ever have or will visit, notice about us. Be it good, be it bad, be it normal or what have you. Also, feel free to share any stories that are of the topic, of aliens coming in to contact with humans and sharing their observations on us.

Aliens won't come with ill thoughts but rather neglect us and socialize with ants, monkeys, dolphins or wales to name a few. Then they leave claiming earth is an unhabited/undeveloped place and they'll come back after the rise of the apes/5000 years.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

But... we are, basically, the rise of the apes, in a way. Not literally, but you know what I mean. Common ancestry and all that.

I meant the other 'undeveloped' apes with that. ><

Why do we always assume aliens are more advanced and they'll find us first? What if we're the most advanced and in 50 years or so we come across aliens, and they're all "Aaaahhh aliens are invading omg".

As I've said in other threads relating to Aliens, this is my theory as to what will end up happening. We're to obsessed with aliens and alien invasions/contact for it not to happen, in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be some kind of embedded ideal/goal for the collective humanity... to go out and find other life, help it grow in to 'maturity' (our own opinion of maturity, of course. It's our nature to know what's best).

Or we may take the Star Trek way, and become observers, waiting for the life-forms to come to maturity on their own and then welcome them to the Galactic community. Either way, I know we'll end up being there. Even if we end up planting the seeds of life ourselves.

But the point of the thread is to discuss the typical "What-if". That is, what if aliens find us first? And what will they say?
