Default TERA may be our salvation.

Check out this article on IGN. TERA is looking a lot more than "promising"

Too bad it probably won't be free to play.

Not probably. It is not going to be F2P. It's been stated in the FAQ of the game.

I thought they didn't come out and say it.
It was like "It'll be like most other MMORPGs" or some junk.

I wish they'd just make them all F2P. They make just as much money as P2P these days

im not so sure about that. P2P games really have somethings that F2P doesn't alot of times.

They do have something F2P games dont have, a 15 dollar monthly fee ;O
    Plus buying the game.

But I will agree the content does get updated more so, and problems seem to be resolved faster.

And you don't need to pay to unlock new areas, features, level up faster or win in PvP...

This is definitely a P2P that will be worth it. If anything, Vindictus looks pretty good too.

As others stated, Tera will be P2P. I'll probably still try it, but I don't want to get too hyped. Usually when I get hyped up, I get disappointed. I'll just 'wait and see.'

    I doubt I'll be playing if it's P2P.
Because Vindictus looks just as good to me.

Vindictus looks great and all, but who's producing it? Yeah, no thanks.

You shouldn't let that stop you from playing a game though.
Activision is a bunch of money hungry douche bags but I still play Call of Duty, even if I hate their CEO. :O

What a coincidence that I hate CoD. Didn't even know the company sucked that much, but those map packs are way overpriced.

Fail. TERA is lightyears ahead of Vindictus.

Yeah, it's been dark times for CoD. But there are rumors about new groups bringing it back on track, like a futuristic CoD or MW3. This time without IWs BS.

A Sci-Fi CoD? That would really be interesting

IW will still be publishing MW3 I believe because Activision owns the company.

And heres a fun fact.. The CEO of Activision Bobby Kotick wants to charge monthly for CoD subscription, and that would be where I stopped playing it. :O

Activision CEO would wish for Call of Duty subscriptions in an instant - Neoseeker News Article

But back to Tera..I don't know if they would even be able to stay afloat if they go P2P. The graphics are too good for most PC gamers, so a lot of people wouldnt even be able to play it..Ah well I can hope.

LOL if that happens CoD is doomed. WTF is he thinking? Prolly he is not.

Back to topic I agree about the requirements are high and that might tease people off but the game will be a success nevertheless.

True enough I guess, I think we're gonna see a huge increase in gaming PC bought this year.
Because of the new WoW. Haha.
So I'm sure people could add Tera to the game list.

Bungie announced that they'll be joining activision for 10 years, after realizing the downfall of IW, which was like their most succesful company. MW3's expected to release in 2012. o.O
