Thread: Can US Wii console play foreign games such as games from Japan?

    Seach in Google to see what format the games are in. For example in US the format is NTSC, EU is PAL but I don't know about Asia. So a search might help..

    Japan uses NTSC. I can run Japanese-exclusive games on my PS3 lol.

    yeah, type in google: Wii Freeloader
    it'll cost you about $20 or so bucks, but it'll probably be cheaper than buying a new japanese wii or risking your wii to break if you try to mod it!
