Ahoy fellow pirates, mates and Navy watsoyoucallyouself people. Due to no fault of yours, we are re-scheduling our Close Beta till 8th September 2006.

This is a confirmed date for all involved. Being good pirates ourselves, this will allow everyone ample time to download and install the client.

An announcement will be made when the client is ready for download. Join in the discussions in the forum, have a rum on us and get merry!

Are you gonna think its gonna be another gamengame and start massive flaming? (getting your face banned) Or dont do massive flaming because you know better? (not getting banned)

Well the game might not be ready yet, so I rather to wait few days more till they totally get it ready for us. but hey think about it... 8th sept is friday witch means weekend!!! lot of time to play yay!

Anyway an Apology from the GM's

Firstly apologise to all of you wonderful guys/gals/pirates/wannabe-pirates/navysomething...

The truth is in order of the day.

The client is ready. BUT the damn thing refuses to show correctly. For e.g.

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog, it will show

th e qu ic k bro w n fo x jum ps o er laz y d o g.

Some of the more important text are out of sync and we couldn't find a fast fix on it. Therefore the delay.

Im not sure if its company policy to be this outright honest. But one thing is for sure, we'll fix this earlier than the expected date.

None of us are allowed to go home till we resolve this issue (well some lucky ones get to go home)

We hope we haven't disappoint you guys that much and all of you will carry on to show us your support. Yes its a tall order, but the rums are on us. =)

So there you go. 8th will be the day you can login to the game, client will be 2 -3 days before the 8th. WE MIGHT however (if we suddenly get a bright bulb cloud) just push it forward. No promises, but imho very likely.

They have given one of the best delay messages of any company clearly identifying the problems they are having aswell as giving a far ahead date that they know they will meet and hopefully can finish earlier than the given Sept 8 date which will make them look great in the eyes of the community. Gamengames biggest problem was just saying 1 more week everytime they werent ready leading to delays over and over which got on alot of peoples nerves. Delays are expected in betas just keep playing something else and priateking will be ready when its ready.
