    Default Anyone play Eve Online

    Hey,
Does anyone here play Eve Online? I recently started playing recently, and it's pretty fun.
Only problem is, I have like no one to talk to or anything, and I just want some company ^_^
So does anyone wanna swap some IGN and play some?
    Btw
    I'm really new

    Thanks.

    Well, it's P2P.
    But the link is
    www.eve-online.com
    It's quite fun.
I had to like beg my mom to let me use her credit card, she always thinks these places are so unsafe.

those who never heard of eve online probbably live in some cave, lol. annyway its rly an awsome game, i played it for 1 month and got bored of getting the same missions over and over again(i probably had to look for more different agents but also the shock was to heavy when my new ship got blown up by some evil guy cause my insurance was too low), but i'm sure i still didnt see annything ingame yet its so... big, some people are alrdy playing for years and have probably seen so much more then me(like huge wars between spaceships), but i just dont have the patience to reach that, atleast not yet =p i think this game gets more enjoyable on older ages, i might try it again when i hit the 30s =p

and Treble, do you really have to use a creditcard? i thought there were more ways to pay for that game, i cant find the english words for them but i think u can also pay with online banking, or giving them acces to receive payment for once from your bank in your country. annyway i have the same problem with my mom, and begging doesnt help for me =( so i mostly take one of those other ways to pay for games=p

Theres a 14 day trial at the moment and its real easy to apply.
    no credit card.
the game will make you end up being offline a lot.
popping in just to click the next training skill.
its takes a long time to get high skill ranks.
the time it ends up taking to train becomes crazy.
as you get higher in certain skills,
    example: 10/20/30/40 days etc etc
also becomes a bit boring I found after a long while of playing.
you end up being a miner or a fighter or mad trader + etc.
or trying to get somekind of rank in your corp.
even ending in going beserk and become a pirate madman.

A good corp may help with some of these problems.
but, even that doesn't make you want to keep paying and paying.

but if its space and wide frontiers your after. go for it.
    I hope you enjoy it.

I enjoyed beta testing it for over 7mths.
if your not in a good ship after a mth your not playing properly.
the 14 day trial will just be enough to get you addicted or make you leave.

I think the cost is way too expensive for what it is.
thats why I don't pay to play it anymore.
I keep using the trials every now and then.
to see what has changed and reap a bit of havoc.
but its hard if you don't know what your doing.
