I can only think of 5 mmos that i enjoyed for a substantial amount of time. Please excuse the fact they arent all mmorpgs.
1. Eternal-Lands
. Now I bet by now most of you have seen the review and think its a piece of crap but it was the first mmorpg i really got into and it just has so much depth and content. 12 level able skills ie attack defense crafting magic ranging, etc. And 15 attributes to level with a nice god system with something like 10+ gods to choose from. Along with no real level cap and a decent sized world. I dont play it much ne more but it just really stuck with me.
2. Shaiya
. Shaiya has many ways you can customize your build as you get 5-9 points per level and a nice pvp system, and a huge world. Customizable gear with linking and enchanting and rolling stats.
3. QuakeLive
. Well quake live is a mmofps not an rpg but its one of my favorite games to play and i just had to include it. The amount of skill and strategy it takes to play quake vs traditional tactical mmofps is just incredible. Its super fast paced as well.
4. DDO
. Just a lovely game with nice graphics a lot of content, its hard to not like
5. Runescape
. I played it when I was like 12 and I had a lot of fun playing it, I didn't really get to into it but it was the first mmo i every played, had a lot of fun with my friends just kinda stuck with me.
