    Default Edda .exe Malware?

My scanner said that the Legend Of Edda.exe is a malware file. When I start up the game and log in, the loading screen becomes death. Is there any way to put this file in an ignore section or disable AVG (non-active). Because it's really anoying, the only way is to delete AVG and it's starting to work on my nerves.

AVG ALWAYS classifies certain files as viruses or malware. Perhaps Edda uses gameguard? I wouldnt know why AVG did this. However, I am sure you can change the properties to have AVG ignore this file. Someone who knows more about AVG specifically may be of more help. *Actually I just did some research. Are you using AVG free?

You are using the FREE version which you never bothered to mention.
The free version doesn't have an exclude list. That is why I gave up
on the free version of AVG and went to other free anti-virus software.
I wasn't about to lose access to my application because of a false
trigger in AVG that blocked access to the file and wait until someday
when Grisoft decided to correct their signature database. You could,
as they suggested, disable AVG and then use your application and then
reenable AVG after exiting the application. Of course, you are not
protected while running the application and you have to disabled and
reenable AVG. Too much of a hassle when there are other free
    anti-virus software available.
Get a new antivirus, like Microsoft Essentials. Get rid of AVG bro. Not only is it crappy, but its a pain in the butt to use.

Thanks for the help and yesh, I'm using the free version. It blocked a lot of files in the past. I'll use ME then.
