Story: "Chains"

Hey guys.
I sort of got bored and decided to start writing a story!
It's my first story so forgive me if it sucks :x
I guess most MMO lovers will like the basic idea behind the story though.

It will be in Chapters and today I will post Chapter 1.

Chapter 1: The Chain in the cold grass

It was an ordinary and cold October night in the heart of Sheffield and a boy just as ordinary as this cold night was walking through the outskirts of the town.
The boy was called Brandon, and he was a 13-year old boy living in the poorer outskirts of Sheffield.
Brandon was nothing out of the ordinary. He had average looks, average grades and had no interesting hobbies or what-so-ever.

Chapter 6: Unidentified

‘The link of student #107686 is..’ the ring said.
Brandon was nervous, somewhere deep down he was hoping that the ring would say “Nothing”.

‘Unidentified’ the ring said.
‘Wha-?’ Brandon said ‘unidentified?’
‘Unidentified’ the ring repeated.

‘That’s odd.’ Elvira said ‘This hasn’t happened before.’
‘The ring should be able to identify any Link-’
‘Maybe I don’t have a Link after all?’ Brandon interrupted Elvira hoping she would agree.
‘No that’s impossible.’ Elvira said, leaving Brandon disappointed ‘You wouldn’t be inside here if you didn’t have a l

Yep it is a story with fantasy elements.
Well actually it's going to be more like fantasy with realistic elements lol.

But wait until chapter 2

Oh and for people who are wondering: Why the short chapters?
1. To build up suspense
2. To annoy you
3. To make it more attractive to read
But still mainly to annoy you lol.
