Should I try EQ2? What does it have in specific? The trailer makes it look more impressive than Lotro.

Have you watched the First Look video? YouTube - EverQuest 2 Gameplay - First Look HD
And before you decide whether to download or not, take a look here: EverQuest II Free-to-Play - Official Fantasy MMORPG Website (scroll down for the F2P/subscription limitation table).

    its as it says
Play it if you have a good pc... coz you know its EverQuest not some other MMORPG
and its Download as play if you have a 10mbps or better connection it won't hurt to try (4-5mb client 70mbs for entering game and rest is 12gbs)

I always disliked games downloading and updating as I play. It's almost fine for some impatient kid who wants to play and try the game NOW, but I'd rather wait and do something else until it's ready. That way, I won't run into any stops or barriers or problems because the game hasn't finished loading.

I managed to get a character made. I just didn't wait long enough after choosing to enter the world.

The game world looks fine on the setting I have it, and it doesn't lag a whole lot, or atleast not yet. But I wouldn't say I have a good PC. The combat is nice looking too.

Oh, and I looked at the restrictions table, and it is pretty beast. Is it still worth playing? Because that looks...well...restrictive. Can those things be unlocked?

Oh, well I know that. It's just I already put money into Lotro, and this game looks REALLY Freemium.
