How wild are usual parties? I've never considered myself much of a party type of person, or alteast not the kind I"m thinking of. On TV and other things, they often seem to be wild and sometimes down-right out of control.

It all depends on what type of people are at the party, and what "toxic substances" they use.

From my personal experience I can say that the best parties are the ones you don't plan on too much ahead. I've been to a few parties that I found out about only a few hours in advance, and those were the best ones.

Depends what type of person you are too. If you appreciate lots of people, then you can go to each party and have an individual experience.
Some parties can be down right boring, too.

I went to a party, once. First one I went to, last one I'll ever go to. When I graduated from College there was an graduation party, and I decided to go. I wound up drinking lots of alcohol, not getting drunk, or even tipsy; Then sitting with my colleagues having the usual chat we did during college everyday. Then later on, everything smelt like vomit and everyone was making out for hours on end.

How boring.

I take it you're not into dancing, are ya? Although many guys don't really care about dancing, I do...prolly because I used to be a b-boy haha. But yeah, even if you don't get drunk or don't have someone to make out with, you can still enjoy yourself dancing. Or at least finger wagging to a wicked tune lol..

Parties often play icky songs, in my opinion. All mainstream stuff that you see on the top 100 hits, even if it's absolutely terrible.
Some places even play that stupid motorbike frog song. If I had an axe I'd stab the stereo.

Music or not, ick to parties.

i had a ''party'' in germany this thursday. At least i thought it was a party. It was just a 'drink as much beer as possible' party.

It has been a while since I went to a partay. But when I go to one and when I get drunk, I do things that people would never even thought I would ever do. I even amaze myself when something happens. Mostly I don't think about it the moment itself.

From what I've read, I don't think I will like going to most parties. I might try to some day of my life, but...

We have a few here, and my friend says that a few of them have 'special couches that you don't want to sit on' - Both gay or straight clubs.

An additional reason I don't like to go to clubs and parties. You're bound to have sat on something that, if you knew what was done on there, you'd never have sat there in the first place...
