    i m playing it and i m loving it.

    nice graphics
    nice gameplay
nice quests, they are actually really fun
you start working with squads already at lvl17 (which you can reach within 2-3 days)
nice story, events, everything is there with AH, shops, crafting (very good system)
pvp after lvl20 (if i remember), all classes seem balanced to me
    skills look awesome
hard gameplay on mobs, bosses, agro (which i prefer, thats why most of kids give up early on the game)
    mass of gear
community is helpful but unfortunatly totally splitted. to many factions.

the only thing which suckz is the drop rate and the costs for everything in common. your skills are pretty much expensive. restoring your lost exp due dying is expensive. buying more space for warehouse and your inventory is expensive. if you play like you suppose to, you still cant afford any poo extra. you dont earn so much money as you need it actually.

dont know if aion is dying. if its true then only cause of the hard gameplay. its really not easy. for a totall mmo-noob almost impossible. even tho there is an awesome guide, its really hard to survive. as healer you get instantly agro (heal once all mobs run to you..even with 3 tanks). my boyfriend tried it out (he played only perfect world so far and didnt like it only cause of the hard gameplay) you need to learn fast and instantly. the only thing that makes it unbalanced is each race on server. either asmodier rule over it, or eloys. that makes pretty unfair pvp then sometimes.
I was also playing Aion back then. It was the hardest mmo i ever come across.

I mean if the gameplay can't keep you there, the graphics just aren't enough anymore. Unless ofc it becomes some .hack where you get transported into some virtual world. Then you can have fun exploring in the wonderful graphics.
It's not always about just the character. Some people (like me) find eyecandy in the environment

Having that said, I still play older titles like CS1.6 and whatnot :x

Not to be rude, but that shows you haven't played many MMO's then. I've played MMO's all across the board and it's one of the FEW that I was able to get to max level in (and stay entertained in the meantime).

Part of the reason I tried it was that it looked amazing, but after playing a private server of it and not finding different features that I find and like about other games and ran into some problems, it became disappointing.

If you see the "vision" trailer, it shows that the game is (hopefully) gonna get much better in the future, but only with different expansions over time unfortunately.

It's not something I would play, but I would definitely keep an "Aion" it! Lmao. See what I did there? "Eye on"? "Aion"?

I pronounced it as if the A is silent, but I may be wrong.

Enjoyed Aion, it has a definite advantage in so many areas, and yes, quite a few floors, but they're being ironed out in my honest opinion.

One of my favourite things about Aion is that the community actually talks too eachother, and helps each-other out. In my opinion the nice graphics and 'Eye Candy' make this more appealing as it's fun to have your character react to what is being said.

The thing I also like about Aion is that it actually takes time, it's not hard per say, but you need to put time in too it, and time put in too it is effort put in too it, and you feel yourself achieving.
I'd have to do a running narration on my life to give it the credit I deserve.

woahh.... idk what to play lol
If Aion gets free to play imma try that one as well. IDK about Lineage 2 though.
So my list with 'have-to-try-games' are; Vindictus, C9, B&S and Aion.
